About Us
The Lord's Vine Bishop's Stortford is one of the parishes of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Which was established in 1952 with a mandate to take the gospel of salvation to the world. It is a Bible-believing body, where teachings and approaches emphasize holiness, love, and victory in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God is Pastor E.A. Adeboye. RCCG has grown to over five thousand parishes spread around the world with a little over 850 parishes in the UK.
About Us
We believe that the purpose of the Church can be summed up in three directions:
UP – to worship God, not only through song worship but by choosing to follow him in every area of our lives
IN – to nurture the Church Family by encouraging, equipping, and empowering each person to live life in all its fullness
OUT – to reach out to those in Bishop's Stortford and around us with the Good News of Jesus Christ through our words, our actions, and our lives
Why We are Here
The church is all about people and their relationship with God, wanting to see each person discover their own unique identity, purposes, and destiny, living life as God intended. We value not only the individual but also the importance of community, coming together to worship, love, and support each other, and going out into our world with the Good News of Jesus. We believe in the Trinity and the influence of the work of the Holy Spirit in our days. We believe in loving and reaching the lost and impacting lives through prayers and the Word of God
